November 26th.

Home again after a long car trip starting at 4:30 am at the Georgia monastery east of Atlanta and ending at home  at 2:30 pm!  One stop for gas.  I got in the car and stayed there the whole trip.  Woo...Atlanta was a breeze at that hour...Nashville was not so much...but at all times the traffic kept moving.  Unloaded the car and at 5 pm...all back where things should be.  Not movin' very fast at this point.  Just soaking in all the going on that happen during the long weekend.  Now the busy keeps on being busy starting tomorrow.  Off to church to begin the Advent decorating projects.  It's all in the preparation since the big guns are coming on Thurs. to finish the work.  Lots of stuff to pull out and hang and it all should be quite stunning.. We'll be taking the Mamlin's to the airport for their trip back to Kenya on Wed.  This time should be one of the last times.  They are moving back to Indy in March.  But have promised to return to Kenya for a long visit in 2020.  Trunks are packed.  Thurs. will be soup kitchen...Friday...the kids come and then at 4 it's off to the Forum to get ready for a Christmas sale day Fri. evening and all day Sat.  My teeth continue to look their best although there still is a bit of soreness in my mouth from time to time.  Black and blue chin continues.  Grr. I'm determined to not repeat the events of the past week.  Once in a lifetime is one to many.
